  • Developing your poetry writing skills, with poet and playwright Caroline Bird
  • Editing your writing, with poet, novelist and editor Clare Pollard

  • How to run an event, with literature programmer and producer Bea Colley
  • Giving and receiving feedback, with poet Helen Bowell
  • Getting your work out there, with poet, zindabad founder and Young Poets Network editor Cia Mangat
  • Performing your work, with poet and rapper Adam Kammerling

There are 8 free workshops from 4.30-6.30pm on Mondays 7, 14, 21 October, 4, 11, 18, 25 November, and 2 December. Travel bursaries are available.

Young writers will also organise a showcase of their work on 9 and 11 December 2024 at The Poetry Café, the home of poetry in London. And they’ll also have the chance to shadow a poet facilitating a workshop in a Camden school, to learn more about running writing workshops.
