We spoke to some of our young people to find out their connection to Wac Arts and why Wac Arts matters. Take a look at what they had to say…
“One I remember the most, for some reason it keeps coming back to me, we did African dancing and singing, the harmonies and whatnot and then the teacher just stopped the lesson and just started teaching us about African history and that stuck with me throughout so I think that’s my favourite memory so far.”
“It’s like generational, like you pass on to the next.. and the next passes on the Wac way to them”
“It opened my mind and broadened my capacity”
